Daniel Nolan

brings over 20 years of industry experience to the classroom at Schenck Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. His first manufacturing job was fitting/welding outrigger boxes for cranes, then he began working at a shop specializing in structural and bridge work. The bridge shop was where he transitioned to the inspection side of manufacturing. He also previously attended a trade school in Baltimore, Md. To Daniel, safety, honesty and quality are three of the most important principles in this industry.

Kathleen Sutton, R.N.

brings experience in pediatric intensive care, wound care and hyperbaric medicine to her role as Certified Nurse Assistant instructor at Oconaluftee Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. She has served as CNA instructor for over a decade, helping students achieve state board certification. Kathleen is also the Medication Aide instructor and has been a nurse manager several times.

Jacquie Newton

has taught the Office Administration training area at Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center for nearly a decade. She started at Job Corps as a part-time counselor, then became a full-time Academics instructor, where she taught computer technology and GED writing. Jacquie moved to the office administration department, and this allowed her to continue to encourage students to excel by setting career goals in the office administration field.
